The Special release their brand new single ‘Ocean Meets The Sands Motel’.
Lusciously produced by Shane O'Mara at Yikesville studio. Songwriter McCarthy says of the track

'It's pure fantasy, an intimate afternoon and evening spent in a wild and ideal location. I've been mucking around with two string riffs for a while. Damian and Nathan locked in nicely. Shane O'mara gave good sound on Damian's seashells percussion'.

The Special are elastic roots at its best folks. Singer and songwriter Terry McCarthy forms a tight three piece with drummer Damian Fitzgerald
(Pony Face) and bass player Nathan Farrelly (Elvis Big Band / Warner Brothers). Ocean Meets The Sands Motel is the first single from their forthcoming album.
They are launching the single at The Merri Creek Tavern on Sunday March 15th at 5pm. A Free and easy two set wonder!
